SRNS Statement Regarding Protest of Contract Award

Jan. 23, 2008 – Our team is well prepared, committed and excited to come to Aiken and begin our transition process.  While we are disappointed to learn about the protest, we remain confident that once the Government Accountability Office completes their review, they will reaffirm the Department of Energy’s selection of Savannah River Nuclear Solutions to manage and operate the Savannah River Site.

During the protest period, we may not be able to communicate with site employees or the community. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and patience during this time, and ask the site employees to remain focused on safe and successful operations.
