For more than 50 years, Fluor Daniel and its
partners at Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, LLC have played
an important role in the communities of this region through
civic involvement, employee giving programs and charitable
contributions. In the last decade, we have donated almost
6 million dollars to support local educational programs at
regional colleges and universities.

Fluor Daniel Gives $2 million
gift to Clemson University’s Department of Industrial Engineering
Demonstrating Fluor Daniel’s continued commitment to the region
and educational initiatives, CEO Alan L. Boeckmann presented Clemson University
president James F. Barker with a $2 million gift at a luncheon held in Greenville.
S.C. in September 2007. In attendance were local officials, business leaders,
and Members of Congress. This gift allows Clemson to bring world-class talent
and experienced professors to the Fluor Daniel Endowed Chair of Supply Chain
and Logistics within the department of industrial engineering. (View

Fluor Daniel Greenville Receives Habitat for Humanity’s Mission Award
Fluor Daniel received the Mission Award from the Greenville County Habitat for Humanity during a volunteer service ceremony for their dedication to the home-building program and reducing substandard housing in the area. Barnwell County School System
Fluor Daniel donated 300 backpacks for school-age children in the three Barnwell County school districts, which are Barnwell School District 45, Williston School District 29 and Blackville School District 19.
