Tritium Operations
Prepares the nation's only tritium supply for national defense
Maintains the weapons stockpile by delivering high quality tritium reservoirs
Provides surveillance data and testing in absence of nuclear weapons testing
Surplus Plutonium Disposition Operations and Programs
Supports the nation's nonproliferation efforts
Accelerates ability to remove surplus plutonium from South Carolina by expanding downblend capability
Preparations ongoing with final approval to operate expected in fiscal year 2028
Plutonium Modernization
Establishes new mission to produce 50 pits per year for the nation's nuclear deterrent
Utilizes existing Hazard Category-2 structure

SRNS uses ACT WorkKeys to assess applicants for some nonexempt job positions. ACT WorkKeys is a job skills assessment system which measures foundational and soft skills. The assessment is offered at multiple test sites.
